yes use malwarebytes. Websites get exploited everyday. If you wanna do a quick check use hitman pro and use default scan and one time scan for free removal. Usually take 10 minutes to check for me 1.5tb took 30 minutes. If you have more questions please replyLeave a comment:

On your problem go and download 1st a bootable antivirus rescue disc. It has to be different from the one you currently have for ex: bitdefender, kaspersky, and etc and run . Also you need to know what type of computer you have for example most computer manufactors leave a extra partition on the hard drive to boot into and reinstall the os.
