Well, I would just go with the Vista. I have it, and it works great, as long as you have the right hardware. Since every major computer company manufacturer only has Vista on they're new computers, it will be very hard to find one that doesn't have it.
Get an HP laptop, they're the best. If you buy it online, you can customize it and get whatever you want for YOUR needs, instead of buying it from a store. Besides, you don't know if...

Windows Vista DreamScene
Hey everyone! I had always wanted DreamScene on my computer, but found out that it can only be done on Windows Vista Ultimate (I have Home Premium.) I was wondering if any of you knew of a place that I can get DreamScene for Home Premium. I tried this one install thing, but the directions were too confusing and didn't make sense, considering the thing didn't even work. I also tried DreamScape, but it said "You must have Windows Vista Ultimate... -

Hmm...you might want to check on your Linksys Router URL to make sure that you have your laptop's MAC Address under "WIRELESS MAC ADDRESS FILTER". This will make sure that only your laptop will be able to access the internet. I know that whenever I turn on my laptop it connects, anyway. If this doesn't work then just let me know and I can try and find a solution.
Have a great summer!

NWLink IPX/SPX
Hello, I was wondering if anyone knew any websites that offer NWLink IPX/SPX (or any type, doesn't matter) downloads. I am running Windows Vista (32 bit) and need this protocol (yes I know, it's an old one) in order for me to play a network computer game (Command and Conquer: Red Alert 2). My XP computer does have the IPX, and if there is a way to copy that one onto my other computer that would be great! -

Have you tried opening the table in design view? And add columns that way?Leave a comment:

Yeah, just put it in your Startup folder. Anything in that folder starts when Windows does.Leave a comment:

Yeah, works great! Just, the program is for serial ports. Is it possible to make a network chat with IP address connections?...Leave a comment:

Network Chat
Hey guys, I was looking around the internet a bit but couldn't find anything on my subject. I want to make an application that will be able to chat with another computer (over a network), in VB 2005 (Express). I kind of have an idea of how it will work, but have no idea where to start. Wondering if any of you would know! -

Well then you would have to make the fake email your 1st priority by looking at your first contact and aiming higher. As for the failed attempt thing....I'm clueless!...Leave a comment:

Well, I have a workgroup, called BELLAIR HOME. Everything is set up and working. I can share files, printers, everything. I just can't (from the XP computers anyway) open my Vista computer in the My Workgroup.Leave a comment:

XP and Vista network...
Well, to start I just got Windows Vista a few months ago. It works great, but the trouble came when I decided to connect all of my computers - XP Home, XP Professional and Vista - to a home network. I have a broadband connection that connects into my wireless router, and the Vista connects, wired, through that router. My ethernet printer also connects through that router. I have 2 wireless computers, an XP Home and XP Professional, that connect to... -
