hi friends,
i have a problem.i m using phptraid or php4 with mysql and phpmyadmin with apache in window XP my local machine.i hve used phpmyadmin for table creation,deleti on,updation and insertion.it work fine earlier,but now when i try to do any operation with a table,its shown a error message,that table is read only.
for ex:
let i have a table xyz and i want to insert a record on it:
it show a erro msg...

hi friends,i have a problem actually i want to send a php file through a mail.
for ex suppose i have a php page in which i m showing all the list of employee in my company.when we run this page in a explorer it is show ing the list of employee.now what i want i want to send this output page to aor hr team by mail.so tell me how can i do this.the page should look same with same output when the receiver check its mail. -

auto increment format
Hi, I'm looking for some basic help. I am developing a MySQL database and want to auto increment a field, but I don't want it to just count 1,2,3, etc. I want the field to be a combination of letters and numbers, at least 8 digits long, completely random for security porposes, but do this automatically, everytime a record is added. For example, ord5001, ord5002, ord5003, etc. Does anyone know how to do this in MySQL? -
