Hello.
I have this strange problem when installing autocad lt 2006. Or actually I´m creating an administrative image when I´m trying to deploy the CAD. So the problem is this:
First when I started to install I get runtime erors. There were about 10 different Error: <xxx> is not defined. I managed to solve this problem by fixing the IE registry. But now I´m very stuck and banging my head to the wall.
When I register the cad, the installer says "please wait while windows configures AutoCad LT 2006" and this message is displayed about 30-45 minutes and the progressbar do not even appear. Then after loooooong waiting another message is shown: "installer is no longer responding". WHAT?
So please someone help me.
Oh yeah here is something I have already tried.
First I ran services.msc and choosed the windows installer. Then
I changed the startup type from manual to disabled.---> reboot
Next I cleared all temp files in both locations C:\windows\temp
and C:\documents and settings\<usern ame>\local settings\temp
Then I changed startup type back to manual --->reboot
Next installing..... nope.
Next choice.
I went to msconfig and choose the selective startup and allow the windows installer to start. --->reboot
Now install...... and believe it or not.... NO it wont work.
If someone could help me I would be soooo crateful.
