Creating a hyperlink

Hello ppl,
What i want to know is if m writting a mail to someone and i want to provide for ex. say a link for Wikipedia- some specific topic in it.. How will i do that?..actual hyperlink?

most email clients are able to recognise URLs, so typing in the address should do it. using a hyperlink is only useful, if you're writing html mails (which not everyone accepts (e.g. I have html mail display switched off by default)) the editor/application usually has a button (or something) to make the hyperlink.
