Okay here is what I have been Googleing and Googleing in an effort to
find an answer to my current design delemma:
Css columns equal height; macromedia.com columns equal... basically
variations on this. And apparently, there is No answer. Er, no Good
answer. But somehow, some web designer over at Macromedia.com sold his
soul and managed to get two columns to line up and (with a gap between
exposing a gradient background). Does anyone know if this is
recreateable in CSS without getting the Devil involved? How can this be
so hard? How does macromedia create the look of their site?
If someone can get me an answer (that really [really] works) before my
deadline (January 1st - but I need the fix at least a week before that)
I would happily PayPal $50 to him or her.
What I need: Two flexible columns, with caps (pods) that line up
side-by side, that allow for a gradient background to come through
above, below and beside the columns. Oh yeah, and the left columns is
divided into a top and bottom section, where the gradient background
needs to shine through.
Thanks so much for reading.
