    "documents" index

on my computer, when i used to open "documents" i would find a list starting with adobe, then my albums, my downloads, etc., down thru wsdl (whatever that is) and after that was a list of all my documents, in alphabetical order.

i just noticed that for the last two weeks or so, all new folders and files are listed directly following adobe, in no particular order either by date or alphabet.

makes it hard to find things.

i can't find how to get them into that alph. index. i can move some of the files, but only into existing folders -- i don't want to put a letter from my sister into the folder "my scans."

does anyone know what i did? or what i can do to undo it, whoever o whatever did it? thanks

Not really sure how this got stuck in the .NET forum. This is by no means a .NET programming issue.

Click on the "Name" or "Type" column header as you prefer to sort.
You should see a triangle indicating the sorting order of the column. (Ascending or descending)

tlhintoq...than k you, the pathway you gave me worked instantly, almost faster than i could blink.

i would have been happy to take this elsewhere. didn't know where to start in asking the question, and figured someone would here might be able to point me in a right direction.

i see insertAlias has moved this to miscellaneous. thank you i.a.
