I just wonder, how long is considered 'normal' to wait for a reply? i posted to ASP http://www.thescripts. com/forum/showthread.php? p=2314808#post2 314808 and it looks like that forum is quite dead. Thanks

Some of the forums are more active than others. Our Access section is very lively, as well as C++, while some of the others (Coldfusion and Ruby come to mind) are, as you put it, 'quite dead'. Give it some time, and hopefully someone will come along who can give you a hand.
Yes, there is a better way. Its called treating this thread like the announcement was. Keeps its permanently on top, until admin removes it. I'd second it. :>)
