Info on form to enter into table

Hello...

Is it possible to have a field on a form copied from another form (aka =[forms]![formname]![fieldname]) enter that data that it copies into a table even though it is just a reference? I need that information in a table to keep the relationship, but don't want users to have to type it into the form.

I tried playing with append and make table queries but have never used either and was not very successful. Any thoughts?

With code in VB

In your form properties go to After insert event procedure and type

Me![Aka]=Forms![fdfd]![sdsd] ' as you've done well in your post

So every time when a new record is inserted this value will be copied from the respective form!
