Hi,
If you have the subform based on qrymain, that's what it shall display. From the second button, insead of modifying qrymain I'd be inclined to run a seperate update query and then just refresh the subform to show the new values.
Not knowing what you're actually trying to acheive obviously makes my reply a little difficult, but that's my suggestion.

Hi,
Just to check that it does work for this section (null)
'Stores AlertBaseID into variable and tests the value stored in Airtankers for that record
'If AirTankers is blank then inserts into CombinedValuesA irTanker Table for reports
'If Airtankers has data then Seperates and stores string into AlertBaseTanker
strColumn1 = Me!AlertBaseID
If IsNull(Me!AirTa nkers) Or Me!AirTankers...Leave a comment:

You can call me simple if you like, but I would have been inclined to split the text box into 3s on screen! :)
I realise that doesn't help your situation and for that I applogise.Leave a comment:

Hi there,
If you've already created the report, there is a "outputto" command to help you out with this.
(Here's one I put together earlier...)
On Error Resume Next
Kill "C:\Sales Quality\MI-Summary.rtf"
Dim stDocName As String
stDocName = "rptMI-Summary"
DoCmd.OutputTo acReport, stDocName, acFormatRTF, "C:\Sales Quality\MI-Summary.rtf"...Leave a comment:

RESOLVED:
This is to all access developers who "copy" forms when building a Db!
If you've copied another form and then do not delete any code which refers to buttons etc not used on the new form, you shall be unable to create the MDE file!
I hope this shall save other users some time in the future.
Thanks

Apologies, yes the mdb has been compiled and is currently in Access 97.
The compile went through ok, but on trying to create the MDE again, I got the same message. "Compile error in hidden module. Form_formname"
There is a help file which provides this;
"A protected module can't be displayed. This error has the following cause and solution:

"Hidden module" when trying to create MDE file
Hi,
I have been trying to create an MDE version of our Db but keep receiving the message "Complile Error in hidden module: Form_formname"
I thought I'd see if it was just that one form causing issues, so I deleted it! But now it's just moved onto another form!!
If anyone could shed some light on this I'd be most appreciated.
Thanks.

Thanks for the info.
I have tried to build something, with a little help from useable code located on this very forum! What a helpful bunch.
Unfortunately, the developer who built the appointment system forgot to populate the appt Id from Outlook so locating the appointment and deleting it using this Id is not possible.
I have tried to use the creation time of the appointment, but using this method I was able to delete all...Leave a comment:

I'm guessing this isn't possible as even when you remove the Organizer from the Scheduling screen when creating a meeting/ appointment, it still gets added to your own calendar!!
Looks like we'll have to live with it! Oh well.Leave a comment:

Creating appointments(Outlook/ Access) - deleting organiser entry only
Hi,
Following the introduction of an appointment booking system in Access I've now given myself another issue.
As I'm sending lots of appointments out I'm also then getting lots of the same appointments in my calendar as the organiser.
My question is:
Is there anyway to prevent the organiser entry being logged?
I have switched off the 'ResponseReques ted' option so I don't get bomb barded with... -
Outlook address book look up facility
Good morning All,
I have built a small database usage utility which basically shows who logged into the Db, when and what version was used.
I'm bringing back the users log on Id such as AB12345 and I'd like to be able to some how link into the Outlook address book to be able to resolve the users name and possibly location if stored in their Outlook properties.
Is this possible?
Any suggestions... -
Display database location
Hi All,
Is it possible to retrieve/ display the location of a database?
The reason is that we have various versions, 97, 2000, 2003 which include some read only version as well and I'd like to trap the username and date etc together with the location/ version.
I've got the first bits sorted, just not the location, any ideas?
Thanks
Matt -
Glad to hear you sorted it. Just as an update to what I mentioned yesterday;
"C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\OFFICE11 \MSACCESS.EXE"/ runtime "C:\Development \Test.mdb"
This is where the Runtime option is placed.

Hi DLN,
I'm not sure this would work for you, but in the past I have sent out a new shortcut for users and added the "/runtime" to the shortcut properties. This removes the 'right-click' option on any of the toolbars.
Hope this helps.

I've got it, if you just put a space into the Hyperlink address the hand is displayed! ;-)Leave a comment:

Thanks for that I just noticed that 15 did nothing. I wonder why the options are so limited?!
The hand is displayed when you have a hyperlink on the page! GrrrLeave a comment:

There would appear NOT to be a on mouse over property for button and labels...back to the drawing board then.Leave a comment:

I realise this doesn't help you but I just put your line of code in 2003 on a forms 'on load' event and it worked fine.
