    Element type 'taglib' was not declared

    hi im trying to use taglib in jsp.
    i hv to jar file called standard.jar and jstl.jar in my lib folder
    iand in my tld folder i hv c.tld,x.tld,fmt .tld,sql.tld..
    n when in my jsp wehn i try to include the taglib it throws the folowing error
    org.apache.jasp er.JasperExcept ion: XML parsing error on file /WEB-INF/tld/c.tld: (line 6, col 13): Element type 'taglib' was not declared

    can neone guide me as how to go...

      hii,
      yes want to restrict log from one computer everytime, N i know i have to collect some peice of info from clients machine. but i cant do the same. coz i was trying to collect the mac address of the clients machine but i didnt succed. Can u help on this issue. I lost der n dont know how to go abt....

        hi,
        Im quering the database for users login and password and this is working fine. My problem is dat i want this user to login from same computer each time coz we are providing the user ,login and password on system based as in.
        Its like subscription. (user can subscribe for license for n computers).
        I hope ur understanding..

                When i try to run a jsp file tomcat throws an error sating cannot comple the jsp file com.jpaser..... ... error at line -1

                  Im writing a code to retirve the mac address of the client. I hv the javascript dat retrives the mac address.. but it works only id the IE's security is set to low. If it is set to high it throws an error "Automation server cant create object".
                  Can aneonle help me on how to sign the ActiveX control??? coz i think dats what is creating the problem??/
