You will need to give more details. Are you authenticating against values stored in the database?

You mean only one computer always or do you mean one computer at a time?

If talking about one computer at a time then you simply need a flag (logged) in the database and check against that. If a user logs in you set that to true. If a user tries to log in while logged is true yo do not accept.

If however you want to restrict log from one computer everytime, you'll need to collect some piece of information from the user's machine when they log in the first time and store that. Next time they log in you check if that piece of information is the same as the one in the database.
