I believe I ended up just using approximate percentages and going with it as it was, alas..sorry i cant help.

I started out previewing it in opera, actually, but couldn:t get it to work and switched to explorer.
but...
I tried every single doctype and none of them made any difference in how the document was presented. All worked fine in explorer and terribly in firefox. I think the problem is in my css or html...i changed the 60% to 40%, and that made no difference either, so it is not a question...Leave a comment:

div widths not correct in opera/firefox
I am trying to create two rows, each 100% wide.
the first has three dvis, the first is 20% wide, the second is 60% wide, the third is 20% wide.
THe second row is the same except the first element is now two elements, each 10% wide.
sort of like so:
-----x---- ---------y1--------- -----z1---
x1 x2 ---------y2--------- -----z2---
what i am getting in operqa and mozilla is:

php script showing in browser despite htaccess file
I have an htaccess file protected folder. In that folder I have several php files that generate some simple html. When I am logged out, cache cleared, sessions info cleared, I navigate to one of the php scripts, and the login screen shows up. so far so good.
But now, even if i enter invalid information in the login screen, or cancel out of it, my php script seems to be running, and my information is showing up in the browser.
