    Back to top

    Hi there,

    I recently designed a website where I included a lot of "Back to top"- which are internal links with the code <a href="#top">bac k to top
    </a>.

    Now when I open the website with Firefox, the links don't work.

    Please help and will I experience the same problem with Opera or Safari? This works fine with IE 6.0

    Thanks for advising

    Sorry I forgot to ask, I am quite happy with the
    list-style-type:square; instead. Could I change the color?

    Thanks Louise

    Thanks sure.

    It still does not work, the bullets are higher than the text.
    Code:
    .links ul {
        list-style-image:url(/images/uploaded/Image/Intranet%20pics%20for%20CH/b_d_square.gif);
        list-style-position:outside;
     }
    .links li {
        font-size: 9pt;
        margin:0px;
        padding:3px;
    }

    Here is a similar script to Guidelines:

    [CODE=css].links ul {
    list-style-image:url(/images/uploaded/Image/Intranet%20pics %20for%20CH/b_d_square.gif) ;
    list-style-position:outsid e;

    .links li {
    font-size:9pt;
    margin:0px;
    padding:3px;
    }
    [/CODE] Idon't know how to attach an image.

    Hi All,

    Could you advise me on how to get a Table in HTML with fine line borders?
    I mainly work with pixels.

    Thanks

    Thanks for the guidelines, but my text is centered instead of being left.

    Maybe the bullet image is wrong (.gif), red square (4 by 4 pixel).

    Thanks

    Sorry, I need to clarify.

    I would like the bullet (in this case a customed square) to be aligned with the text. The text is usually in aligned in the left.

    As an example, you can see the "
    REPLY GUIDELINES" used bulltes on the right of this page.

    Thanks

    Hi
    Thanks for your reply but it works with FireFox but not for IE 6.0.

    Also you suggested to have a text-align = center: where can I add this as I have a lot of text styles in the .css?
    I can also do it in HTML directly. Please advice.

    Thanks

    L.

    Centered bullet in .css

    Hi All,

    I inserted this attribute in my .css file.
    I wish to know how the centre the text after each bullet.
    I also would like to make sure that there is no problem with other browsers.

    Code:
    .links ul li {
    	list-style-image: url(r_square.gif);
    		}
    Thanks for your advice!

    Hi Dr B,

    Thanks

    "Yes. If so then doing so would depend on how the page that contains the tree worked." :
    All documents are stored in a CMS (admin system) where users can create folders, sub-folders...and upload MS Documents. Then the Documents tree is automatically generated in one Intranet page.

    FYI, a programmer sent me the link of a document saved in the tree:

    Thanks for this useful link.

    In my case, the .asp tree is built already.

    What I would like to do is to fragment it.

    If we consider the link you sent me:

    -I want to create an HTML page called "Personal Folders", then somewhere in this page, I would like the folder called "Personal Folders" to appear only without the rest of the tree because the HTML page in question is...

    Thanks.

    Basically, users save documents in the CMS which are located in folders.
    Those folders are displayed in a collapsible and / or static tree in an Intranet Documents page.

    My aim is to display one or many folders of this tree in other Intranet pages where it is relevant to place them.

    Thanks for advising

    Archiving documents in DMS

    Hi All,

    Sorry if I am not in the right category or forum.

    I am currently managing the DMS (Document Management System) of a medium-sized organisation.
    The DMS has been developed externally by a CMS provider.

    Users are currently storing their documents in the company server.

    One of my future challenges will be to create a DMS tailored to users' need. The existing documents of the organisation...

    Hi jeffstl

    Thanks.

    Actually, I need this convertion in a Content Management Systemwhich has an HTML editor.

    I have some Excel spreadsheets related to Performance Indicators and I would like them to appear on our future Intranet.

    The option "Save as web page" does not sort out the issue.

    Thanks for your advice.
