instance creation has options to create 32 bit and 64 bit instance :
db2icrt -w 64 or db2icrt -w 32

You can do that by going to control panel -> regional and Language options -> selecting french and then rebooting ur machine will set the language to frenchLeave a comment:

It is always recommended to stop the instance before updating to new fixpack, but you can update while instance/DAS are active using "installFix Pack -update <installPath> "
