This problem was caused by having 3 spans inside a div block each taking up a % of the width. I floated the first two left and the third right. Once I removed the right float from the css the problem went away. There must be something wrong elsewhere because I have used this method of placement many times. I will have to continue to dig. Thanks for the responses. -
div content dosn't hold format until you scroll down and back up
I have a page where the content in a dev is all over the page unitl you scroll down and back up. This behavior only happens in IE. Any guesses what can cause this. -
Floated class content will not stay in in Div
I've got a page where I'm replacing the tables by using nested div tags and float. The vertical size of the div is not changing to hold all the content. I got it to work in IE but in foxfire I have to add the height element to the div to see any content. I've tried to set the margin, padding, and border to get around the problems of margin-collapsing with no luck. Any ideas would be helpfull.
