Yes I do have a firewall installed and then when I go to control panel >> security center >> Windows firewall. Everything is disable there ( greyedout). And on top I see this " Windows firewall is turned off. Your network Administrator is using Group policy to control these settings"

I want to be able to log in any PC on the network and be able to access my files. Like for example ,on this site I can access everything aslong as I'm connected to the internet and logged in with Username and password. I want exactly that. PC can't ping
Hi guys,
I've got this PC on my network. I can access everything on it on the network but I can't ping it. I tried pinging with the computer name and the IP adress aswell but It just doesn't want to ping. I can ping other workstations from it but not it.
What's happening here Guys?? -

Win2003 Server access rights, problem
Hi guys I have a Win@2003 Server.I mapped a drive( T) in Win2003 ,now I want to copy files from C drive on the server( Win2003) and paste them on the T drive ( the new drive I mapped). I've given full control to both drives ,but it doesn't seem to work. When I try to paste the files ,it gives me a message saying " no rights to access/ the disk is full" but it's not.

I just installed VIA Aoudio ( SigmaTel CODEC)drivers on my PC and now I've got no sound. I tried uninstalling and the re-installing but it still doesn't work -
Ok but then maybe I wasn't specific.I want to rename the domain in Active Directory. Not the domain controller name. So is what you telling me really going to do that? My company domain is "Company.co m" all the workstations are joined to it. Now I want to rename the domain and make it be "Company.lo cal" and then join all the computers to that new domain.
