    Yes can make changes via query analyzer. It is purely when going through access that the problem arises. Should say the user has access to similar SQL tables on another database and has no problems...

        User has been set up on SQL as a user with access to a number of databases.

        Within specific database inquestion user confirmed with rights to do everything

        On tables within the database, full permissions select, read, write delete

          Acess updating SQL tables

          I have an Access front end which inserts/updates etc tables under SQL 2000.

          Whenever I try to update a table using a form the system will not let me it just bleeps.

          Other databases set up in a similar way do not seem to be affected.

          All permissions are set correctly.
