Has anyone ever used a Barcode Add-In with MS Access?
Can someone share their runtime experience using Barcode Add-In.

Would like to filter 3 combo Boxs in MS Access 2013
I have 3 combo box's in MS Access 2013
Manufacture, Brand, Product Group
When I filter on one combo box I want the other 2 combo box's reflect results of filter.
So when one Combo box is filter than the other two would combo's would be populated with result of selection.
This can be done easy in a Excel spreadsheet but not quit but having a difficult time during with Combo box's in a MS Access form....Last edited by msilva100; Jan 24 '16, 05:38 PM. Get #name error when I try to create a combo from a Working Query
I am using MS Access 2013.
I have a query that works as a query but when to use it as a source for a combo box
I get a #name error. I have created combo boxes using tables but I have not been to build a combo box using a qeury.
Not sure where I am messing up.

Can I split a MS Access 2013 runtime database?
Is it possible to split a Runtime MS Access 2013 database?
I am on a Windows 7 server. I have one license of MS Access 2013.
But I would like distribute this application to 5 client workstations.
So I am trying understand the best approach..
Do I need a license for each client machine?
Or is ithere a way to place backend and front end with runtime MS Access 2013?

Backfill cascacade Combo Boxs
1. I have Cascade Combo Box’s that will select a product:
MFG combo Box i.e. Aurora
Brand combo Box i.e. Aurora Natural
Product Group combo Box i.e. Trail Mix
Product Selection combo Box i.e. 5K Omega Trail Mix

Your right filtering really had nothing to do with the solution.
I was trying figure out why I could not set the "Ma" state to the combo box. The combo box had a numeric link to the Table with all the states. And I was trying to set
a text to combo box that was looking for a numeric value.
Never knew that was the problem until I begin to place a "Ma"

I have the Combo Box working now. Here is the behavior that I found. The Combo Box that I was using to set a default Value was created by "Lookup Wizard" from a Table and link to Table with all the States".
I create Query to list the states...all states will list properly.
But when I proceed to filter the Query with a state "MA" I got a message "Data Type Mismatch...Leave a comment:

How to set a default value on a combo box
I have a table called STATES.
This table is displayed in a form as a combo box for the selection of a state (AL,AR,AZ....WV ,WY).
I want the combo box to default to MA unless I need to select another state.

I am using a combo box to pull a persons name from a table. When the tables link personID and personFK table I get the message above when I close the form. You can see the record on the form. When I break the table link the form closes without error messages but none of the record are stored in the table.

Why does a table add a number to the end--in Relationships layout?
I have a table name customers and when I add the table to the "Relationsh ips" layout the table displays as customers_1.

MS Access see detail Total when Focus on Total Field
I have a "Total" on a Form of a Invoice amount: $3,000.
When I click on the "Total" field of $3000, I would like to see the detail charges that made up the $3,000.
09/15 Charge 1: $1,000
09/20 Charge 2: $1,000
09/22 Charge 3: $1,000

Cannot Reinstall Chrome Remote Desktop
I was able to install Chrome Remote Desktop for the first time. But I ran into a problem installing Chrome Remote Desktop after I remove the first install.
I do not get a prompt for a 6 pin number and I am stuck
between these 2 messages:
The message below stays on forever:
"Chrome is downloading the Chrome Remote Desktop Host installer Once the download is complete, please run the installer before continuing"... -
