Thank you so much for answering, I am extremely grateful that you would spend your valuable time on me.

But if it's a spacing issue, say, 100px in Safari shows up as 50px in IE, I can't just change the Style Sheet to say 200px or else Safari will have the problem, won't it? I understand I'll have to write different code for every problem, but how do I get the right code to show up in the right browser?

I'm pretty new to this stuff; all I know is enough CSS and HTML to make a site look good so if you're kind enough to answer, please be kind enough to say something I can understand :)

I've looked up :How to make a site look the same in any browser" and everyone says to check your site in different browsers every step of the way. This makes sense. But nobody can say what to do when you find a problem in anything that resembles...
