creating XML schema with restrictions
HI,
I am a beginner in XML schema. In XML schema(XSD) how to complex type, which is restricted to base64Binary (the value of base64Binary type should be any of the values from enumeration) ?
I have tried the below, but has some error, saying unexpected child element xs:enumeration. ( I am using altova's XML spy).

Copy file using script
Hi,
I have a file in a URL ( Excel document) and I need to copy the same into local folder. Is it possible to do this either with Javascript or VBscript ?

Problem with anchor navigation in frames
Could somebody help me ? I believe this might be elementary, but I am not much familiar with HTML .In my page i have two frames. I have a number of anchor tags in right frame. Every anchor tag in left side is associated to some text and one anchor as header in right frame. When I click in left anchor tag it should focus the associated content in the right frame.

Enable/disable automatic configuration script
In Internet Explorer (I use 6.0 ), there is a check box to enable/disable automatic configuration script. Is there any way to check /uncheck this option using Win API ( that can be implemented in VB 6.0 ) ? Or can this be done with registry updation ( from VB) ?

Yes. This is how i set focus for radio and check box. But as I mentioned, i need to focus ( not exactly focus. Jus to display in screen) for some static text too.

using focus() in navigation between frames.
Could somebody help me ? I have a left frame and right frame in a page. There is a form in right frame which has number of text box, checkbox, radio button, some static text's. For every input item (and for some static text too), I have link in left frame.
When I click in the left frame, I called a function like right frame.formName. item.focus() and cursor is placed in the input item of right frame. But this works only for the elements... -
I think you can try like this..
1. Receive the random generated id (while installation) and client id from mail.
2. Generate the serial key with these two inputs.
3. Send back through mail.
You should decide whether it is automatic or manual, i.e. receiving random id, client id and generating serial key....Leave a comment:

I have seen this kind of authentication in a software.
1. When you install software, a 10 digit dynamic key is produced.
2. Client has to call his vendor with this key and his id.
3. A serial no can be produced based on this key and client id. (this is separate program and not given to client)
sounds silly. isnt it ? But very strong.
(may be no one will buy software, perhaps)
