  • hi,

    Thanks for Reply.

    I tried your code, it doen't work.

    From your regular expression instead of nullifying the line breaks, include this condition in my regular expression for matching line breaks, tab character, space at the beginning and end of string. It works fine now.

    Thanks for your valuable suggesstion

    For your info, modified code is below;

    Code:

  • How to Match Line Breaks using Regular Expression

    Hi all,

    I wrote the following Javascript function used to execute the Javascript codes from the ajax response which contains both html & javascript.

    It works fine, if the javascript codes from the response doesn't have any line break at all.
    Code:
    function executeJSCodes( html ){
                  var regExp = new RegExp('<script language="javascript">(.*)<\/script>',"gi");

    My sample code
    Code:
    <div id="overflowdiv" style="overflow:scroll;height:100;width:100">

  • Hi,

    the following code will helps....

    Code:
    var new_window = window.open(url);
    do{
         status = new_window.document.readyState;
    }while(status != "complete")
    From the above code, "do" loop will execute until your child window loaded fully.
    So, you have to write the code (to execute after child window loads) after "do" loop

    Hope this helps....

    replied to Catch the Paste Event in Javascript
    In tinyMCE editor, I used paste plugin. In that, I just want to paste plain text into editor whenever the user try to copy the content from any other website.
    This problem is solved in the case of ctrl+v option in Editor control. But the user selects paste option from edit menu means it still allows the formatted HTML content into the editor.

    So, i want to catch the event when user tries to select the pasted option from edit...

    Hi,

    The solution for your problem is you have to create an object for window.open method in javascript.
    give like this,
    Code:
    popup = window.open(URL,"","toolbar=0, location=0, statusbar=1, menubar=0, scrollbars=0, resizable=0, width=600, height=500");
    popup.focus();

    Hi,

    You are facing the problem after logout, the user presses back button in the browser window it will shows all the pages visited by him/her earlier know.....

    This problem can be easily removed by, you can check for the session variable for userid is set in each and every pages..... If suppose this condition is violated means, you have to forward it to the index page.....

    Like just for an example......
