Report question
I have a report with a list of answers people have written into a questionnaire. Most of the answers are short and so go on one row OK, but a few go on to a second row. I have had to enlarge the area just to accommodate these few answers. This makes the report look very unprofessional. Is there some way of asking access to use just one row but extend when the need arises? As you can tell, I am a very basic user -

jennyp29 replied to How to get the menu of queries that I have asked to appear in numeric/alpha orderin AccessI have access to table design, the only problem is that the primary key is numeric and text ie: 100a, 100b, 100c, 101a,102a,102b. etc. even when it only has one part it has 'a' attached. I am putting information into a database that someone else has built, it is a very simple database, and is built to put in answers to a questionnaire. So the Queries/Reports that I am building are based on the Question Number, but they are appearing in a strange order i.e. 2 appears after 199. How can I get Access to make the lists appear in numeric order? -

Open Report in Landscape
I am building a very big, but simple database, with lots of reports. Some of these reports need to open in Landscape, so I change the setting in Page Setup. BUT the next time I open the report it has changed back to portrait! Please, can anyone give me a solution, before I throw my computer out of the window? -

Counting Days between two dates in Days

1. I have two date fields, one a referral date and one an action date. I need to find out all those records that have a time span greater than 42 days between the two date.
2. I also need to find out the number of days (if greater than 42 days) from referral date to today's date for all those records that have not yet received an active date

Time Sheet in Excel 2000
I am trying to design a Time Sheet in Excel. With a Start Time, an End Time, and a time standown (Lunch Break) But cannot seem to get the formula correct. I realise this is probably one of the simplest questions anyone has ever asked but I am a complete novice! I am writing the times in as 12 hour clock - so start time is entered as 8:35 AM and End Time is entered as 5:45 PM. PLEASE can you help? -

When setting up a parameter query is it possible for the parameter dialogue box to have a combo or list box, so that a restricted reply can be entered? If so, how would I do it? -

Hide duplicates in reports
In one of my reports I have several people who have several rows of information each. I have selected the 'hide duplicates' in the properties box for most of the fields like name; dob; etc. The problem I have is with one field which may be the same for the next person, so I would like this field to show on the first row of the next persons records. How would I be able to do this? -

Yes, the min, max functions did work but I can't get the correct scores to appear for these dates.

Thank you Comtek for your reply, and I am sure that it is part of the answer to my problem but I think I over-simplified the question.
I have a list of people who each do different exercises on lots of different dates, on each date there is a score for each particular exercise.

Extract 1st and last dates
I need to create a subform that extracts the first and last dates from a list of events. Is this possible by creating a query with a date formula in? I can't find these formulas in my Access 2000 book.
