Thank you NeoPa - am I red faced, I never scroll down that far on format properties even when building the template report on which all are based. How one report amongst a dozen become so afflicted I do not know - must be my clumsy plonking on the keyboard. And also you've revealed to me a useful property - should have remembered RTFM from the old days. Now I wonder if this switch thing by the mains plug has anything to do with the tv not coming... -
Invisible presence of values in reports
A report based on a query has values not shown in one field but which nonetheless are taken into account for calculations of totals. The query datasheet view shows these values, only in the report are they missing. Values not shown occur when they are the same as the previous value in that field (column). Thus if two consecutive records have the same amounts in their number fields the final (and third) field in the second record will show a blank.... -
Thanks mshmyob. I have just signed on to say that. New security key method works for Office 10 Access (Office\12.0 in registry) also. Unfortunately, the user still has three clicks to wade through in IE as my html help files are so dangerous.
