    Bad variable error while using arrays

    when i read values from user in an array, It displays Bad Variable error.
    code is given below.

    count=0
while [ $count -lt $n ]
do
 read arr[$count]
 count=`expr $count + 1`
done
    where n is maximum number of elements in an array.

      thanks, but in my case, there was direct installer, double click and u're done. No need to boot explictly.

        Problem in booting from pendrive

        I tried booting Ubuntu 11.10 from my pendruve, It says "press any key to restart" it goes into infinite loop. I'm having .iso image in my pendrive and currently using windows xp. My boot BIOS settings are proper and i've downloaded OS from ubuntu's official site.
