hi,
i am trying to save a dataset into an excel sheet.
i have a windows form project with sql server backend. i have a datagridview control on the form which is populated from the sql server database. Now, i need to pull the grid view contents into an excel sheet and then save the excel sheet onto the disk.
plz help me in this, thanks in advance.

How to introduce an escape character in filepath...???
hi..
i am trying to pass the file path of a text file, which i need to read, to a file object so as to read all lines of the text file. and i am selecting the file through a filedialog and i obtained the filepath and the filename using the FileName and SafefileName properties of the filedialog ...as:
now i am facing problem in introducing the escape character to ignore the backslash punctuation while passing the filename in... -

hi, i have to enter data from a delimited file into sqlserver database table.
i have been able to delimit the file and read the data into a data table, now i want enter the data table contents to sqlserver. some help in this matter...if possible code for moving data from data table to the database....wou ld be really helpful. thanks in advance. -

i am trying to read a 2 way delimited txt file into sqlserver in VS2008 using C# and SQL server2005. the individual entries of the file are delimited by "~" and the data within the entries are separated using "$". and i need to read the entries as rows in the database and the data within each entry i.e. delimited by $ as columns or fields in the database.
since i am new to .net, i am not able to do the 2 way delimiting...
