I forgot to mention that background color does work, just not a background image. Unfortunately I have to have the image rather than just a plain color.

I am currently attempting to create an eNewsletter using Dreamweaver CS3. For those of you who have not worked on eNewsletters before I cannot use <div> tags or CSS due to the inconsistencies with different email clients. Instead, I have to use nested tables. I have the table layout completed and the information placed within the table but the background is not working.
