      Extending time of html tag visibility

      I have a flow chart that is an image. I have alt= property area tag that displays text when the mouse / pointer / cursor is on a certain area of the image. The text displays fine however does not reamain on the screen long enought. I would like to increase the amount of time the tag is displayed. Is there code that needs to be added to already existing code?
