Thanks for that, i ended up using a get method and used a js script to split up the url and retrieve each parameter and its value and displayed it on the new page :D...

Passing Drop Down List Selected Value to a textbox on a new page
There is a drop down list on my Web page with values 1,2,3,4,5 to be
selected by the user. Once the user has selected a value, he/she clicks
on the submit button. When he/she does that I would like the selected value to appear in that text which is on the new page. I can make the selected value appear on the same page but not sure how to make it go to the other page.
