IMHO it's better (than Vista), but still a huge learning curve if you really want to use it (rather than just play with the pretty features). Many of the big problems you expect are not there (eg old apps working), but the simplest stuff - like dragging a link off a window, viewing a file timestamp, installing an earlier version of MS Office, using IPX on the network - just don't work. In Windows 7, how can I get Explorer to always display file Created, Modified and Accessed timestamps in the Properties dialog (eg Modified: 3:37:39 pm), without "dumbing down" these results (eg "Modified: 1 hour ago")?
