Function in php to update session using two parameters?
Q1.Hello guys i'm trying to make a function named as "updateSession( )" to assign values in session variales. Also the function should have two parameters.
A. session variable key name that neesd to be set in session array.
B. session variable value that needs to be assigned to the key name first parameter. for eg: if we need to assign a value "steave"
to a key named "username" then we would add(use)... -

recursively traversing directory using php
I am try to write a program which can recursively traverse all files and if it finds directory then it goes inside that sub directory and list all files of that subdirectory, again comes back to main directory to traverse rest of the files...
Problem i am facing is, its just going inside first sub directory it comes across and then comes back to main directory, and treats all other files as files (even if its a directory). i am not... -

i need to access the value of paragraph tag using dom in javascript.
lets say there is <p id="test">this is test para </p>
now how to access the value inside this para ie. "this is test para"?
i have tried:
var text = document.getEle mentById("test" ).value, also tried document.getEle mentById("test" ).firstChild
but none of them return value of paragraph.... -

i combined button and link together, because this button is not of submit type. also because i am not just submitting data to server but based on whether it passes or fails i am moving to another page, which i believe can be done via using anchor tag around button.

I have a table which are varchar type of data & i am trying to fetch data from table based on some condition.

here $x has string value &... -
you are suggesting to have different pages with same content. but what i am looking for is 1 page with different content at different instances & have different URL at those instances.
meanwhile i have came across a concept in PHP called search engine friendly URL, which probably solves this problem. But i am not sure about it.
