Really strange problem here.
I have a server SBS 2003 and exchange 2003. I have several laptops working over vpn and recently have a few acer travelmate laptops with win7 64bit (same as the others).
The problem is when I try connect over vpn these laptops get access to shared folders etc. but ms outlook 2010 shows disconnected. If I log in with domain admin account outlook connects fine over the same vpn connection....

using include directive causes errors on host 1and1
Hi,
I am migrating a domain from one host to another. Where the code uses the includes directive I keep getting errors from the 1and1 host.
if I include the line below I get a 500 error.
Would this be something to do with permissions on server?Code:<!--#include file="/management/connection.asp"-->

The problem I have is this person is no longer in contact with us. I have all the code and a backup of the db. is there not a way to break the db to get password or would it not be in the code somewhere? -
uploading an existing asp site

If you have pop3 details you can create a pop3 connection for each account. To do this open up server management on your server. In the left hand window expand advanced management. You will see pop3 connector management.Leave a comment:

How to set your external FQDN on SBS2003?
Hi All,
I have recently had a new fibre broadband line installed from a different supplier (BT). I noticed none of my emails being sent from my server through exchange 2003 where getting out. BT told me I had to submit a request for rDNS. To do this I needed my FQDN which is made up I think of [servername].[domain].com.
Is there anywhere on SBS2003 where I can check this is correct or change it if possible?

I have recently purchased three ASUS R101 netbooks with windows XP. I have installed office 2010 on all 3 (3 user home and student version).
If I have excel running and let the machine go into hibernation I get one of the following out comes every time I bring it out of hibernation.

I have recently done this. What you need to do is setup the netgear router as modem only.
To do this enter the go to the router page. In the browser you will see the address 192.168.0.1/start.htm. Change start.htm to mode.htm. Then choose modem only option.
Then add you ISP details to the WAN2 connection in the Draytek router.Leave a comment:

Most of my PC's are on fixed IP outside this range with no conflicts. The trouble is almost every day at least one machine will lose access to a mapped network drive on the server. How can I get cisco IOS software for 877 router?

I have been having trouble with my router. It is a Cisco 877 router. Using SDM I was able to wipe the flash thinking that as I have the CD I would have all I need to reinstall all the software. From what I can gather I need to reinstall the IOS then reload my config file which had saved previously.

Make laptop work off locally stored profile while connected via vpn

I back up mydocuments on my server but it seems as if my laptop works off the server as opposed to the local profile on my machine. The problem is when i am connected to the server remotely working o mydocuments is slow. Is there somewhere I can tell the laptop to work of the locally stored mydocuments as opposed to the server copy?

I believe a BT home hub already has wireless so you do not need the Netgear wireless access point. As for your computer, if it is not a laptop I assume it does not already have wireless. You will then need to purchase a wireless dongle like this one http://www.amazon.co.uk/Netgear-Rang.../dp/B0007YQO36 There are cheaper ones available.

Outgrown current backup system

Currently I am using yosemite software and 180gb tapes to backup my system. 3 monthly, 3 weekly and 4 daily tapes. Now I have outgrown this capacity and need an alternative solution.
