    Only show current records?

    I have a database based on fiscal years: i.e. 2007/2008 2008/2009 etc.

    Is there a way to only see the current fiscal (2008/2009) and make the prior fiscal years hidden (invisible)? The field is a text box to house the fiscal years.

      Only show Employees that are active?

      I have an employees table with a field called Status. It is a text field: Active or Inactive. Without changing it to a yes/no; is there a way to code so that if it says Inactive, that employee will not show up in any dropdown combo boxes??

        User Input Case Sensitive

        I am using a parameter query to run a report. Therefore the user must type in the employee name: Smith, Jane
        Is there a way to make it not case sensitive?
        Is there a way to just type in the last name and it will bring up everyone with that last name and you can select the right one?
