    User Input Case Sensitive

I am using a parameter query to run a report. Therefore the user must type in the employee name: Smith, Jane
Is there a way to make it not case sensitive?
Is there a way to just type in the last name and it will bring up everyone with that last name and you can select the right one?

    Thank you so much!

By default, Access is not case sensitive. In point of fact, it takes a considerable work to make it case sensitive.

I'm afraid you'll have to explain this more clearly! Type the last name in where? Make it come up how?
