But there is no way of making an URL that works for all plugins? I want to make sure all viewers will get it right, no matter what plugin they might have.

Firefox fails to respond on #page=n in pdf-file
http://example.no/myfile.pdf#page =3
should open myfile.pdf on page 3 instead of at the beginning. Internet Explorer does, but my Firefox does not. Can someone help?
