DID you ever get a response to your problem?

I am having the exact same problem. My power supply blew. I replaced the power supply, and now I get the Going to Sleep, so fast I couldn't do anything.

I took the harddrive out and stuck it in another computer, and at least I can now boot into safe mode. If I tell it to boot normally, I get the GOING TO SLEEP, and it just goes around in a vicious circle. I'm ready to...
