    pdf opening

    Hi,

    i have used the following coding for open pdf file in new page....

    <a href="contact.p df" target="_blank" >Contact</a>

    but it gives an error when i host the project.. it open the pdf file in new page.. when am closing that new window current window also closed...

    how to rectify this problem........

                when am refresh the page, the existing action is maintained. i checked the "enableviewstat e" property also.its also true only.

                how can i rectify this problem.

                    am doing codings in visual studio 2003, asp.net1.1 version.

                    Whenever am refreshing any project,the existing action is maintained.

                    How can i rectify this problem.
