    DHCP deployment problem

    Hi there,

I decided to use DHCP in Windows Server 2008 to enable notebook users to move from one subnet to another without having to reconfigure IP address manually. However, i've got some of IP address scopes are being depleted. Is there anyway to resolve the problem without altering network subnetting??

    Thank you.

What do you mean IP address scopes being depleted? are you using up all the IP address for a given subnet? You could look at how long you lease out the IP addresses for. Is there any need that a notebook user needs to have the same IP address on the subnet for weeks at a time? Could you just lease out the addresses for a day?
