    check RAM?

    Hai experts,
    how can i check type(DDR1 or DDR2 or SDram or .....) of RAM without opening CPU? n also without any software.

    As far as I remember, my IBM boot sequence shows type of RAM [without opening CPU:=) or any third party software].

    But I will see if there is a way to find out type of RAM in XP. If I find something I will update it here.

      As I explained in your thread "check mother board?", you WON'T open the CPU under any circumstances.
      Also, the programs I suggested there might well do this job too.
