    resizing partition without losing data

    Hi Experts

    Is there a way to resize the partition which has Windows installed on?

    I have 2Gb partition for C Drive and another is D drive that has 100GB free.

    I ant to extend the C Drive partition .. Could some one suggest please - it is urgent

      Have you tried it yourself? I dont want to lose any data. i will use only tested software.

        I have used Paragon partition manager sucesfully many times without any errors at all and best of all the link below will give you a free copy and legitimate free registration key

            Maybe you should backup your files to an external hard drive or something else before you use that sofrware? It never hurts to select click and drag ^_^

              you can manually adjust the partition if you have 100GB unused/unpartitioned space on hard drive after ur 2 GB windows parttition (Fat32/NTFS)
              use ranish's PART.exe

              1. copy part.exe on a CD (not USB)
              2. Boot ur machine using a dos6.22 / win98 Boot CD
              3. run part.exe to see ur HDD partition tables.
              4. Change the values carefully to make ur desire size of partition.(if u did wrong it will warn you. dont touch starting side of figures, change only ending side figures.
              if u touch starting side ur system will not boot.
              5. start win xp and run scandisk

              done...
