Hi All,
I have the new type problem in folder option where should i get this problem through Flash Drive Plug into USB port and its Shows ON and OFF in the Windows XP SP2. and automatically generate the virus or some thing else my folder option show all files not working and when i click my computer ICON and click to Hard Drive Partion Example E: (Drive) its open in separate window. And Folder option is open but show all files not work... and suddenly i lost my Restore point. Even i Format c: drive but the problem not Solve.. please give the solutions... thank you

Have you tried reinstalling xp?
Check also your service packs make sure it came from Microsoft.

Open taskmanager and find is there any programe named SVCHOST running followed by username or not?

hey u guys, i have the same exact problem and my friend does too. i suspect that it might be coming from some windows upgrades or smth. any ideas ??

SVCHOST is the virus name which does not allows you to show hidden files.

Another thing when u right clicks on a drive u will see an option of Auto play.
OR
May be there is an option of some other language like chineese.

Can u tell me one thing more Either when u open a cmd based programe or any windows utility like reg edit will system restarts?

hi ,

brother you are infected by a virus .....

the best solution to get rid off it is to install a good anti virus like nod32 smart security with updated version .

if you dont want to install a anti virus programme than simply reinstall windows & show super hidden files ( system files ) without opening any drive & than explore your drives without opening them . after that delete all hidden files in your root drives included autorun.inf & than restart your computer .

You can not remove this virus. I have found that bit defender has scanned this virus and removed, but after removing there is a problem, this virus generates another virus name runouce, which is according to my experience cannot be scanned by any antivirus. it disturbs the exes and all office files(.doc etc).
ANd now days i m making a software which is for flash(pen) drives which detects the virus in them and remove them.

The only way i have found yet is that always open your flash drive or hard drives if they are infected by virus from address bar type the address of drive and then press enter. like D:\
Because when you open the drive automatically by dblclicking on it virus activates, because there is an autorun file in drive whic plays the virus. so this way is the safest way to prevent virus by activating if virus exist.
And if you have not antivirus or your antivirus is unable to find and clean the virus then reinstall windows and then show hidden and system files. open drives one by one manually and delete the files from every drive named Autorun.inf, smss.exe, crss.exe, svchost.exe,fla shy.exe watever exe is hidden delete them.
NOw your computer is safe.
Or
remove your hard drive and attach to someother pc now delete the files.
Because once the virus activate it disables many features like task manager, folder options and cmd etc.

(SOme other information to prevent this virus will be uploaded soon)

Well, Let me remind you that SVCHOST is not a virus name but it's is a generic host process name for services that run from dynamic-link libraries (DLLs). And yes, this file is loaded into system memory everytime the windows boots. This is not a virus at all.
For further information click here.

Ending this process in task manager can crash your system (mine system crashed when I ended it).

It always runs when windows kernel is loaded into system memory. Check out PROCESSES tab in taskmanager to find SVCHOST.exe is running on your computer. You may even find more than one copy of it running on your system.

Let me tell you that deleting Svchost.exe, smss.exe, crss.exe might crash your PC. So never try to delete them. All of them are program important for the stable and secure running of your computer and should not be terminated or deleted.
But yes if anyone of them is infected then it might be a serious problem.Determi ning whether these programs (Svchost.exe, smss.exe, crss.exe) are virus or a legitimate Windows process depends on the directory location it executes or runs from.

Click here, to remove this virus.

Yes you are right but the virus creater has also name his virus the same name as this window process has.

And by the way i have also made the same virus as that one is.
And now i m making an antivirus which will remove all this type of viruses.

SO my friend i have also said one thing scxhost against username not against System...
So always against username processes only that processes will run who are run by user manually.
