      I concur with rapieper.

The database Corruption is not grounds for removing PointSec or any of the other answers above. contact Pointsec and get the utility for the database corruption. -- either CD or floppy or USB image. Quick fix to repair the DB.
Dumped psmain.iso onto a cd, booted up using that, set to restore Pointsec Db from backup on my pc (and PS does a lot of local backups-nicely cynical).
Rebooted and back to normal. Took longer to spin the CD up to speed than fix the problem.

Where did you get the psmail.iso? ... My PointSec corrupted by booting the laptop with a Motorola Q9 plugged in ... never do that again ... wait until the machine isrunning first. Hoping that the psmail.iso image will work for me also.

Whenever i would turn on my Dad's old laptop that I am now using for my school work, it would display the above. I really need to get my computer back and running because i have valuable documents that i need and i cannot do the recovery for this reason. If you can please tell me where i can get a CD with the PsMain.iso.

          Thanks,

Good luck getting this from them. They wanted an admin's email address associated with a service account. This could have been a quick fix, but looks like I'll have to send it in to the IT guys.

If you are getting a Blue Screen error with a stop code of 0x05xxxxxx, the easiest way to recover is to get the dynamic mount utility from Pointsec.

You will need a non-encrypted PC to install it on AND Pointsec administrator credentials. This utility allows "unlocking" (NOT decrypting) of the drive while it is in a USB enclosure attached to the dynamic mount PC. Usually, just unlocking it is enough to clear the 0x05xxxxxx database error. After its unlocked, put it back in the original PC and 90% of the time it will boot normally.

                Stack Error

I got this same pointsec stack error message today on my laptop. My laptop battery was practically dead I discovered and when I plugged it in and rebooted, it worked fine and I no longer got the error. It didn't have enough power to get through the Pointsec process.

Contact Pointsec and get Pointsec Mobile Technologies, 2006-11-09, 0x50012b8 Tool. You can make a bootable USB or a bootable floppy from the this and boot it up and follow simple instructions it repairs the PSmain and all is well. See attached txt file.

Do NOT run fixboot if you have a psmain error on a BIOS machine. This will make your computer unbootable without direct support from Check Point.

                      Hi all,
I solved this problem. I use a usb cable to make this HDD as external HDD,and connect another USB stick. Then turn on the power, and login checkpoint successfully. you guys may try this easy method first. (Discussion→) I ask user if he connect any usb devices or use internal SD card reader before the fail boot (some google result said this may cause the problem),but he answered negative. He said last time he used hibernate mode with Win7 ,and he used SSD cache mode via Crucial BX200 manufacturer software. Maybe these configurations make chekpoint Full Disk Encryption fail.

have found this error occurs at power-up when I have inadvertently plugged in my USB cable I utilize to charge my phone. The order of which it bootstraps in the BIOS is having it look at external ports, thus looking for that script from my plugged-in phone, ostensively. If I don't have my phone plugged in, it powers up and accesses the internal script as it should.

Amending the order in which it looks for the Checkpoint script in the BIOS via F10 is one way to avoid this error - or just remembering not to have anything plugged into USB ports at power up.
