An alternative might be to use LC5 (originally L0phtcrack). It works using Brute Force cracking method.

1. Start > run > type "cmd" if that doesn't work "cmd.exe"
2. Type "net user". Look at the name of the admin accounts
3. type "net user bob *"
4. confirm new password.
