    Reset administrator password for XP

    Hello !

    I have a problem:

I started a new PC, with Windows XP Pro. The first time, it asked me to define the language for region options, language, and keyboard. It offered me corespodentlly :

    US
    English (United State)
    US

and I changed it like this:

    FYRO Macedonian
    Macedonian
    Macedonian, Former Yugoslav Repablic Of

Then, because, I want to work with fonts instade of Macedonian support, I change the keyboard or language to English, and then I created password, for the only user at that moment, Administrator.T hen, I made log off, then
I loged in again with the password I created and everithing was all right.

Then, when, I reset PC, it not recognized the password. It request to put password, and near to write place there was sign: MK !

Probablly, I thought I change: the input language to use when I start my computer, but in fact, I didn't.

How can I back empty password for Administrator, without reinstalling Windows XP Pro?

I NEED HELP, AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. Please help me !

    Thanks in advance.

    Ciao Kak Osi?

Ok so you need to see what the english letters represent in Macedonian (serbo-croatian) language and just use that password. You can try that and see if it works.

To do that use another computer open up any word processing program and type in the password that you put in Macedonian (serbo-croatian) and note the english letters for it.

If you can't do this, send me PM with your password and I will run the process for you.

    Vidjemose.

              G'Day

i think the best bet that u could use is to take the hard drive out and put it in another computer , then going into the system32/config copy the SAM file over over the computers c drive of the desktop and using a sam decrypter.

if u get the right one it will be able to make you a user account aswell

sorry i can not remember the name of the decrypter

Or use an NT Password Crack cd (burned iso image). The standard image will work for 99% of IDE drives, and even if you have SCSI hd's you can get an image with those drivers on there. That's probably the easiest method to reset to a blank passwd. (though it warns that it comes with no guarantee and might screw things up, etc... I personally used to use it frequently at work when someone would leave and not tell us their passwd, and have never had a problem with it.)

hi...try running in a safe mode...if you still have the old admin user and password, u may still go through your windows...if i'm not mistaken, in safe mode, you can still create a new account then create an admin account.

I also heard that there is a utility to delete the admin password..its an NT utility hope i can get one and share it to you.

hope to solve your problem.. you guys are great!!! not just in computer but in different language also.. hope i can catch up with you guys...

                    Hello,

thanks for your adwice and information. I heard about that utility too. It is very nice of you if you got it and share it with me.

In meantime, I solved the problem very simple, with left shift+Left alt, and the sign MK goes to EN. And it is work.
But I have to do that, every time when I start Windows.

I change the language in Regional Settings from Mk to En, as a default language for start windows, but it isn't work.

                    Thanks in advance
                    Lile

                      Hi,

have you change the settings in advance tab also? then try to check default user account settings...

hope this helps. I might get the utility this week and share it to all of you.. hehehe
