    hi there,

try to scan your comuter for possible viruses. it might cause your explorer to malfunction.

if you need to view some folders during while having this problem...try start, run, then type the path. example: c:\windows then press the enter key.

    hope this helps.

    Hi there,

does your service pack of windows xp complies with stardock? try restoring your windows from the date before you installed the apps. Start, all programs, accessories, system tools, system restore.

    Hope this helps.

    Hi there,

Try to disable your Norton Antivirus and see the behavior of your applications and how much time consumes when opens it.

    Then let me know.

    Thanks,

  • hi there,

to remove the bios password, u'll have to open your chassis. on your motherboard, see if you can find JBAT near the cmos battery. make sure to turn off your PC, the jumper is set to 1 and 2, then change it to 2 and 3, power up your pc, note that your pc won't boot up. turn off your pc and the avr as for your safety procedure..retu rn the jumper setting from 1 and 2. then boot up your pc. you will have to config your cmos settings....

unable to add printer in windows xp

    Hi there,

I'm using windows xp pro, I think my windows xp is corrupted. i'm trying to add a local printer but there error says "cannot add printer..unable to spool printing..." somthing like that..I already new admin account. No restoration point because the system restore was disabled.

Is there any other way than reformatting or reinstalling win xp? I don't think its about virus.

    Thanks.

replied to copying different extension by using DOS
    Hi there,

the same destination? i don't think that is possible unless u will rename the filename or extension name.

    for DOS command:

    type copy filename.ext d:\subfolder

or type copy/? to view the list of commands for copy command.

you can use ? and * for wildcards. were ? for single character and * for 2 or more characters....

They might probably know how to hide the files, enable the option first.

open windows explorer, tools, folder options, view tab, show hidden files and folders.

Note: don't forget to change this option again after doing this process. This will show all of the hidden files including your system files. so be careful.

Then when viewing using windows explorer, click on views button or click on view, then thumbnails....

replied to run option not appearing
is this your personal computer or at work? they have purpose in disabling the run command. try ask for an assistance before trying to enable the run command, your company might have an administrator or MIS try to ask them first.

If this is a personal computer ask the person installed your Windows to enable the Run command.

    hope this helps. enjoy :)

If that's the case, the dust will surely slows down your fan and will give damage to your processor. you can clean your cpu fan using wd40 if you want.

u can also add an auxilliary fan. You can try in-take if your place is well air-conditioned and out-take to release the heat from your chassis.

    hope this helps.

yap I forgot about that also... :D

if you still can't display or show your the run command...try to search your registry and find norun, change the value to 0.

btw, you can find the regedit.exe in windows folder.

    cheers!
