Firefox Preventing Page Redirects

OK,
+ What is happening a website I visit is tripping Firefox's redirect error.
This doesn't happen here at bytes nor any of the other sites that I normally visit... just this one site.
The site had nothing to do with programing etc...

+ I have deep scanned on my end for malware, antivirus, checked my firewalls etc. Nothing on my end.

+ They have also ran the same class of security scans on their end.

So, my question, is there a construct in the redirect that would trip Firefox's redirect protection? Cross domains? Commercial Ad links? I would like to go back to their administration with a possible place to start their review of their site.

Have you checked the certs in Firefox?
Have you check the about:config data for the website?
Can you try to set up a trace of the redirects?
Is it going from an https to http? Shouldn't trip it, but worth looking in to.
Does it do it in Chrome? IE? Opera?

Unfortunately the PC I was using died... cap on the main board failed... ugly crusty stuff and bubbles out the top :-(
The PC was around 15 years old so it had a good run :9

Anyway before the system crashed and burned
- Certs checked out
- I have not checked the about:config: however, I thought that was for the local install information not for the site's information.
- Redirects were back into the website. For example, if one uses the search feature here at Bytes.com it will redirect to the results without any problems. There, the redirect trips up the warning in FireFox
- just https>https once logged in.
- The PC was very vanilla setup of WINXP-MCE-SP3 IE8 and Firefox. IE8 didn't seem to have any issues.

I'm looking at a very cheap Desktop-PC to replace the old one... it's really just an email and Office PC. Once it's up and running we'll see what happens.

Oh wait... There was another thread about a computer crashing in the lounge. Was this the desktop?
Do you want a desktop or a laptop? If it really is just for email and word documents, I guess a Surface or Surface Pro would suffice. You can also look into a cheap Core2Duo. An HP Elitebook would also work just would way as much as a desktop. Sorry for your loss.

yep that would be mine... at least I have an image of the drive so no real data loss, just an inconvenience as many of the programs I used for the family photo album and the like are toast too - but I diverge from the topic which may be a mute point.
