how to reduce the time to upload data from access to excel

Iam using vb6.0 my takes lot of time to upload some 30000 records from excel to access its takes some half an hour .
how to reduce this time ,is it possibe.

Hi,

Create a Macro in Access Or Excel, and Run the Macro from VB6.. It will not take more time..

why dont we try this in vb6.0 iam just running a single query insert ,any other option for this to speed up the process
