Books for VB6

Is there a book that explains VB 6 in English, with good, easy to follow examples???
Most of the books I have seen insist on giving generic examples which do not make it clear what parts of the code are optional, which are necessary, and exactly what each part does.
I'm a teacher, and I have found that saying that commands CAN be used to play sound is not enough. Show several examples, with slight variations, explaining the differences. Make the examples ones which the reader can actually program, and see the results.

yes go to amazon .com they have a few good books thats where i buy mine at they have brand new books and used books but there all the same..

Can you give me a few titles? Most of the books I have seen assume you know a great deal more than most do, OR, they keep it so simple that what they tell you won't accomplish much. I want one which gives good examples.

well i just got this book today the title is

microsoft visual basic 6.0 professional step by step second edition:

havent got to read it yet but it got some interesting things in it

i went to amazon .com and found these books haven't bought them yet but will later.


1- learning visual basic 6.0 now

2- programming microsoft visual basic 6.0


there are a few more i want to buy but for now i'll look at the one i got today
