An Error occured while establishing a connection to server

The above said error is shown when i connect my connection object to database.
I have change the setting in "Configurat ion and Connection area as well"
an attachment is there with this post please see the snapshots of error and settings i have done.

This is more of a Visual Studio question first, then a SQL Server questions....

You also need to figure out the properties of the server you're trying to connect to, including server name, the credential you need to connect, among others...

Actually sir its a problem of sql server as the connection is not getting startup in configuration and connection area

Does the connection problem manifest when connecting OSQL or SQL Management Studio, is it only in your developed software that this problem occurs.

If it is the former then it may be a SQL Server issue. If it is the latter then you are mistaken about it being a SQL Server issue. In that case, as CK advised, you would need to look at your software. We have other forums here for help in that area.
