I have donwloaded SQL server express 2008 and also the SQL server management studio ,I will try to use it to automatically store data from an industrial proccess using an ODBC driver , created ODBC driver, and Database every thing working fine, the goal is to show in a comprehensive way the data retrieved from the proccess using filtered trends and reprts , I have done this before using access but want to use SQL server express, inside the SQL Server management studio I can see how to build a query against data logged but I'd like to know if is possible to do something like in access where you have forms and reports to show the filtered info, I know it is doable but just I don't know how , my industrial proccess controller loggs 10 values every minute.
